A question related once Ransomware would infect the server:
For my understanding if stub files would get hit, a demigration would take place and the files gets encrypted on primary storage.
But as long as no scrub policy would purge the secondary storage, a recovery from there would be possible - or am I wrong with this?
Yes this is correct.
Even if another migrate occurs, the original data won’t be overwritten.
